A murder in Russia's Vladimir region caused a strong public outcry - a woman strangled an Uzbek citizen and buried her body under a tree in her own courtyard. This was reported by the regional Investigative Committee.
According to official data, the 54-year-old deceased worked at the Pokrovsky TBI plant for several years. In November, relatives contacted law enforcement agencies regarding his disappearance. According to the investigation, on November 16, the man went to the house of a 48-year-old acquaintance living in the village of Staroye Perepechino, Petushinskiy district.
According to preliminary information, alcohol was consumed during the meeting, and a quarrel broke out. It was reported that the man fell to the floor, and the woman, in a fit of rage, strangled him with a rope. After the murder, the woman buried the body under an apple tree in the garden.
It is said that the reason for the dispute was the issue of debt. The woman asked the deceased for money, but the man refused. Relatives of the deceased stated on social media that the woman had a large debt in advance, and the Uzbek worker went to Perepechino to get his money back. It is said that after the murder, the woman also took the victim's phone and bank card.
Investigators searched the suspect's house and found a number of material evidence. According to reports, the woman had previously been convicted under the article "drugs" of the Russian Criminal Code.
The Investigative Committee is currently preparing a petition to the court to apply a preventive measure in the form of detention to the accused. Forensic examinations have been ordered, and investigative actions are ongoing to clarify all aspects of the incident.
