Staging of the Capustine Killing: News about Operation USS

The Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine released a video on January 2 showing the staged "murder" of Denis Kapustin. Kapustin is known as one of the leaders of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RKK) in Russia. According to the GUR, special video recordings were made using drones in order to "save his life" and "expose the enemy's network of agents."
Researchers report that the first drone crashed into a minibus carrying Kapustin, while the second captured the same "impact" - the burning car. According to the GUR report, these videos were sent to "customers in Russian special services," who offered half a million dollars as a reward for killing Kapustin.
According to available information, on December 27, the RKK Telegram channel reported that 41-year-old Kapustin died in Ukraine, in the Zaporizhzhia region, as a result of an FPV drone attack. However, on January 1, the GUR announced in its statement that his murder was staged and his life was saved as a result of a special operation.
The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, following a Ukrainian intelligence report, once again declared Kapustin wanted and reported the absence of new information leading to the emergence of his trail. According to RCC's Telegram channel, these messages appeared on the website of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Kapustin was born in Moscow, then moved to Germany with his parents and lived in Cologne. He is known among football fans and created the brand of sports equipment "White Rex." The brand also includes clothing in which symbols indicating Nazi symbols are "masked." In 2019, the German authorities revoked Kapustin's permanent residence in Germany and banned him from entering the Schengen Area.
At the time of the start of the large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Kapustin lived in Ukraine and formed the RCC in 2022. According to him, the RCC includes "ethnic Russians" who aim to restore territorial integrity in Ukraine and fight against the existing Russian regime.
