Senegal’s extra-time victory over Morocco in the Africa Cup of Nations final turned into a nationwide celebration. The biggest surprise was the head of state’s reward: Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye granted the national team players not only cash bonuses, but also land plots in a resort area.
