The footage in the form of a television broadcast shows reporting footage and the atmosphere of a noisy field - the mood in the situation is very tense.
Against this backdrop, a stern statement by the head of the National Security Committee of the Iranian parliament, Ibrahim Azizi, is being cited. According to him:
"We will never negotiate or make peace. The aggressor must be punished."
The atmosphere of the rally in the footage also conveys the same mood: people are protesting, clearly demonstrating their position with slogans and posters, and the reporter is covering the situation from their spot. This is not a "softening" or a "retreat," but rather a strong signal to the public.
The main point understood from Azizi's statement is one: official Tehran is prioritizing punishment and retaliation rather than negotiations at this stage. That is, the word "peace" is not yet on their agenda. This indicates that the tension in the region may become even more acute than it has become.
In short, both the footage and the statement complement each other: the mood on the street is harsh, the official position is even harsher. Now everything comes down to one question: what steps will this rigorous rhetoric turn into in practice, and how far will the situation go?
