In an interview with CNBC, US President Donald Trump openly stated his intention not to extend the temporary peace agreement with Iran. According to him, Washington has run out of time, and all instructions have been given to resume airstrikes.
"I do not want to extend this truce. Our army is in fighting spirit and ready for any confrontation. I think bombings will inevitably begin soon, as the current situation demands it," said the head of the White House.
Accusations and Key Demands
Trump accused Iran of violating the terms of the truce but did not specify which clauses were violated. At the same time, the president emphasized that the naval blockade is yielding the expected results and the US is currently in a "strong position." Washington's main condition remains unchanged: Iran must never possess nuclear weapons.

The Iranian government did not leave these US statements unanswered. Official representative Fatemeh Mohajerani stated that the country does not want war but is ready to give a worthy response to aggression.
