UAE President declares state of war

The President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has officially announced that the country is currently in a state of war. In an interview during his visit to areas affected by Iranian attacks, the head of state addressed his people, noting that the defense of the homeland is the top priority. According to him, the Emirates are obligated to protect their loved ones and territories from any external threats.

In his speech, the President emphasized that UAE citizens are fulfilling their duties with dignity. It was also stated that foreigners residing in the country are under state protection and are accepted as both guests and loved ones. Speaking about the UAE's defense capabilities, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan firmly stated that the country is not an easy target and that enemies must realize this.

Following the escalation of the situation in the Middle East, UAE territories are being regularly shelled by Iran. Specifically, on March 7, 2024, a drone crash was observed near Dubai International Airport. These events make the issue of regional security even more urgent. Official Abu Dhabi has announced that it will take all necessary measures to maintain its territorial integrity.
