A sharp drop in temperature is expected in several regions of Kazakhstan on March 10 and 11. According to meteorologists, nighttime temperatures could drop to as low as -30 degrees Celsius in some areas. In light of this, emergency warnings have been issued across the country. In particular, the lowest temperatures are expected in the Akmola, Aktobe, Pavlodar, and North Kazakhstan regions. For instance, in the North Kazakhstan region, thermometers may reach -33 degrees Celsius. In the city of Kokshetau, near the capital, nighttime temperatures are also forecast to drop to -27 degrees Celsius.
A significant decrease in temperature will also be observed in the Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, Abay, and Zhetysu regions. Experts are urging the public to be prepared for weather changes and to take necessary precautions. Winter conditions are expected to return, especially in northern and mountainous areas.
This cold air mass will cover a large part of the country. Citizens are advised to exercise caution on the roads, dress warmly, and follow safety rules when using heating systems. Weather forecasts are being updated continuously.
