Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that, despite the global threats emerging in recent years, he had warned US President Donald Trump about the possibility of a third world war. President Zelenskyy, in an interview with journalist Kailin Robertson, said that he made a warning statement on this matter, but it is likely that Trump did not fully hear or assess these statements.
As the Ukrainian leader emphasized, the experience gained through the country's military forces and armed services is invaluable for the global community. He also drew attention to the fact that the international community is not currently prepared for a conflict of this scale. At the same time, he does not express confidence that Ukraine's military actions will not lead to a global conflict.
In particular, the attack by British missiles in Bryansk was accompanied by the death of six civilians and the appearance of dozens of wounded. This event revealed Ukraine's true strategic intentions and further complicated the issue of global security.
In response, Russia has promised to attack decision-making centers in Kyiv, while radical political supporters are proposing drastic measures, up to and including a nuclear strike. At the same time, among Russia's alternative measures are plans to stop gas supplies to Europe and evacuate industry beyond the Urals. Officially, only the UN was contacted.
Zelenskyy emphasized that the current situation has been achieved thanks to the contribution of the Ukrainian army, industrial potential, and specialists. He added that these forces existed before, but were not shown, and now their existence is comprehended by everyone.
The President's statement will serve to further strengthen the military and diplomatic balance between Ukraine and the international community, as well as attention to global security issues. His words are perceived as an important signal in international politics and serve as a basis for future steps.
