Why is the US Air Force suffering serious losses in Iran?

American political scientist Malek Dudakov told NEWS.ru that the US Air Force suffered heavy losses due to the use of aerial bombs during the military operation in Iran. In his opinion, the fact that seven aircraft piloted by the Americans were lost indicates the seriousness of the incident.
The expert noted that the Pentagon is currently in a difficult situation due to the lack of clarity in its military strategy. The White House admits that there are no specific military facilities on Iranian territory that need to be attacked, since the main military and nuclear facilities are located in deep underground bunkers and the US cannot destroy them. Therefore, the US command also admits that its reserves of high-precision weapons have decreased.
"Last night, it became known that the United States used about 2,000 high-precision JASSM missiles. The Pentagon had 2.3 thousand of them in total. Now the Americans should switch to using JDAM and GBU aerial bombs, but this is also dangerous, because the planes need to enter Iranian airspace to strike," said Malek Dudakov.
According to the expert, Iran has the ability to effectively repel American air strikes, which is why the US Air Force is suffering more and more losses. Dudakov adds that the Iranians are increasing their military level and are trying to strike military targets, especially Israel, with greater precision. This indicates a lack of missiles for the air defense system of the IDF and US forces.
Earlier, it was reported that the Pentagon is using outdated A-10 Thunderbolt II attack aircraft. It was noted that these aircraft are considered vulnerable in modern military operations and should be written off soon.
