Mohammad Ghalibaf: Iran’s will is stronger than America’s billions

The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, made a detailed statement regarding the current military confrontation and the country’s role in this asymmetric war. He openly acknowledged that the United States has significant superiority in terms of financial resources, weapons, and combat experience, and that its regional ally Israel also presents itself as an important military power. However, he emphasized that money and equipment do not always determine the outcome of war.
According to Ghalibaf, Iran is achieving advantage on the battlefield thanks to careful planning and preparation, while the opposing side is making strategic mistakes and failing to correctly assess the will of the Iranian people.
He stated that the current state of society is much better prepared to defend the country compared to previous years. As evidence of the people’s resilience, he pointed to the mass activity of citizens who went out into the streets for nearly fifty consecutive days.
The Speaker of Parliament emphasized that in recent months Iran’s air defense forces have shown unprecedented results, destroying approximately 180 enemy drones. According to him, such indicators were not observed in previous conflicts.
He also commented on the downing of an F-35 fighter jet, stating that it was not accidental but the result of a carefully planned operation involving complex technical and engineering solutions. According to him, the explosion of a missile near a high-tech aircraft clearly demonstrated Iran’s growing military and technological capability and its ability to operate effectively in modern warfare.
Overall, Ghalibaf stressed that Iran’s will and strategy are a stronger factor than external financial superiority.
