The US diplomatic mission in Beirut has issued a new warning regarding the current security situation in Lebanon.
It was reported that the security environment in the country remains volatile, and the situation could change rapidly.
The Embassy urged U.S. citizens to depart Lebanon while commercial flights are still available.
Additionally, those choosing to remain in the country were asked to prepare contingency plans for emergency situations and to monitor official news updates continuously.
According to the mission, the danger of unexploded ordnance remains in areas where military actions have occurred. Therefore, it is recommended to stay away from damaged buildings and avoid touching suspicious objects.
