Mujtaba Khomeini Makes Strong Statement on Persian Gulf

Mujtaba Xominaiy made a sharp statement on the Persian Gulf

Mujtaba Xominaiy, who has not been seen in public since February 28, has addressed the population with another statement. Prepared for Persian Gulf National Day, the statement was read out by an announcer on Iranian television and published by official sources.

In the address, Iran's nuclear and missile capabilities were described as a "national asset" and a firm intention was expressed to defend them under any circumstances. According to Xominaiy, these capabilities guarantee the security of "90 million proud and noble Iranians" living inside and outside the country.

The Iranian leader’s speech also focused particularly on the geopolitical situation in the region. He stressed that the future of the Persian Gulf must be without foreign forces and made a sharp statement.

"For the foreigners who have come from thousands of kilometers away to act with self-interest and malice, there is no place other than the bottom of the Persian Gulf," he said.

He also touched on the Strait of Hormuz, saying it must not be "exploited by the enemy." The Iranian leader openly said he would not abandon the plan to charge tolls from ships passing through the strait.

According to him, the new management system will create economic opportunities for regional states and serve shared development, a process expected to positively affect the population’s welfare.

For context, this holiday was introduced in 1622 to commemorate the expulsion of the Portuguese from Hormuz Island, in which Shah Abbas I and the British East India Company cooperated.

In short, Xominaiy's address is being assessed as a political signal aimed not only at a domestic audience but also at the international stage. This statement may influence the regional situation.
