US President Donald Trump stated that a response from Iran to Washington's proposals regarding an agreement could arrive in the coming hours.
He announced this during a press conference held at the White House. According to Trump, a response letter from Iran is expected to be received this evening.
"I will receive a letter this evening. Then we will see what happens," the US President told reporters.
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei also made a statement on this topic.
In an interview with the Tasnim agency, he said that Tehran has not yet provided an official response to the US proposals regarding the agreement.
So far, no additional information has been provided regarding the content of the negotiations or the terms of a potential agreement.
