Agent mentioned in Epstein case found dead at home

American financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein a modeling agent whose name was mentioned several times in the case related to Jean-Luc Brunel was found dead at his home in France. This was reported by France 24 .

It is reported that the 69-year-old Swedish national Jean-Luc Brunel's body on July 20 was discovered at his residence in Colombes, France. The official cause of death has not yet been announced. Law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation into the incident.

In the documents related to Epstein released by the US Department of Justice, Jean-Luc Brunel's name was mentioned 2,090 times . In the investigative materials, he was mentioned as a person who introduced young women to Jeffrey Epstein in France.

In May of this year BFMTV in an interview with the TV channel, Brunel did not hide that he knew Epstein well. He confirmed that he had introduced some young women to him, but stated that he did so only within the scope of his modeling agency's activities. At the same time, he emphasized that he was unaware of Epstein's private life or illegal activities.

It is worth noting that in previously released court documents, a woman from Uzbekistan born in Samarkandalso had her correspondence and connections with Epstein recorded. According to the documents, information was provided that she received financial assistance and prepared for meetings with some of Epstein's acquaintances.

Five women had filed complaints against Jean-Luc Brunel for rape and sexual assault. However, he strongly denied all allegations, stating that he had never committed such crimes against anyone in his life.

His lawyer Menya Arab-Tigrinstated that Brunel had contacted investigative bodies several times, requesting to be officially questioned. However, he was never officially interrogated before his death.

The lawyer also emphasized that it is too early to draw conclusions about the causes of death until the results of the forensic medical examination are released. According to him, no formal charges were ever brought against his client, and he always considered himself innocent.
