Citroеn officially presented the new generation C5 Aircross crossover

The famous French automaker Citroеn has introduced the new, second-generation C5 Aircross crossover to the general public. The new model is distinguished by a modern design of the branding, new narrow headlights and modern rear lights. This design could also be seen earlier in the company's C4 (2024) model.

The updated interior is devoid of unnecessary elements, everything is simple, convenient and, most importantly, enriched with modern technologies. The center console, equipped with a large vertical screen, which is the main part of the interior, attracts attention. According to Citroеn representatives, this screen is currently the largest among all cars belonging to the Stellantis automobile concern.

In addition, the cabin has a 10-inch digital instrument panel, ambient lighting, a wireless charging system and a panoramic sunroof. The updated C5 Aircross has another important feature - its infotainment system has the ability to use the ChatGPT service based on artificial intelligence.

The second-generation C5 Aircross is built on the new STLA Medium platform of the Stellantis concern. It will be available in two versions - fully electric and hybrid.

The basic version of the electric modification has a power of 210 horsepower and can travel 520 km on a single charge at full power. In addition, an even more powerful modification with a power of 230 horsepower and a range of 680 km on a single charge will also be available.

Hybrid models will be equipped with a 1.2-liter gasoline internal combustion engine and an electric motor, the total power of which is 148 horsepower. Another modification with a 1.6-liter engine and a total power of 195 horsepower will also be available. The range of hybrid models using only the electric motor will be 85 kilometers.
