Uber invests millions in Lucid and Nuro for robotaxi future

According to TechCrunch, Uber has made a multi-million dollar investment in Lucid Motors and Nuro to develop its own robotaxi service — an autonomous, driverless transportation system.

Lucid is known for its luxury electric vehicles, while Nuro specializes in self-driving delivery vehicles. By partnering with both, Uber plans to build a scalable, fully autonomous ride-hailing service.
