Train derails in Denmark

In Denmark, a train derailed after colliding with a cargo truck. At least one person was killed and several others sustained varying degrees of injuries. This may be one of the most serious railway accidents in Denmark in recent years.

Police confirmed that the incident occurred at a railway crossing between the towns of Tinglev and Kliplev. Following the accident, dozens of ambulances and rescuers were dispatched to the scene, and several helicopters were deployed for the rapid evacuation of the injured.

The train was carrying a total of 95 passengers, including school students. According to officials, one of the carriages tipped over, which complicated the evacuation of some passengers.

Two of the injured were airlifted to a hospital, while the others underwent medical examination at the scene. Passengers were moved to a safe location, and their families were informed.

The exact cause of the incident is under investigation, but preliminary reports suggest that the cargo truck may have been stuck on the railway crossing.
