Migrant taxi drivers' accounts were massively blocked in Petersburg

After the introduction of restrictions on the activities of foreigners in the taxi industry in St. Petersburg, more than 58,000 migrant driver accounts were deleted by aggregators in a short time.

It is reported that an average of 20 illegal taxi drivers are detected daily. They were warned that they could be administratively expelled from the country.

Since August, vacancies for drivers in taxi companies have also decreased significantly. According to aggregators' data, the number of drivers decreased by about 12%, but such a decrease did not significantly affect the traffic flow on city roads.
