The situation surrounding the sale of 100,000 Cobalt units announced by UzAuto Motors on November 3 did not leave observers indifferent. After the company's established 7-day payment deadline, a significant portion of the contracts became invalid. According to official data, only 20,833 of the total contracts were approved with payment.
After that, UzAuto Motors received numerous requests from customers. It turned out that part of the contracts concluded on November 3 were formalized without a real need, in order to "try his luck." These factors forced the company to make a new decision.
Therefore, UzAuto Motors has launched an open sale of Cobalt models in official dealerships after the payment deadline. This created an additional opportunity for clients who could not make purchases through the online system, but had a real need.
Now the buyer can go to any Chevrolet dealership and make their choice from the available cars there. He will also have the opportunity to install additional equipment in the dealer center - without damaging the car's warranty. All contracts will be formalized in a single electronic system, and each document will contain a QR code confirming its validity.
According to official data, as of November 20, 2,624 Cobalt cars were delivered to dealerships, of which 1,969 were sold and handed over to their owners. Another approximately 6,000 vehicles were sent to the centers. The company emphasizes that open sales at dealerships will not affect the timely delivery of cars purchased online.
The new trading procedure is significant because, at first glance, it is aimed at assessing market demand in real terms and providing convenience to real buyers. Now the opportunity for customers planning to buy a Cobalt has expanded - the main thing is that they can go to the dealership and choose from the real available cars.
