Who is exempt from wearing a seatbelt? Official list published

The Ministry of Justice has registered a list of "diseases whose health does not allow wearing a seatbelt." Now, individuals with established medical conditions will be legally exempt from the requirement to wear seat belts.
It is noted that a medical certificate with a QR code for these diseases is issued free of charge through the "Electronic Healthcare" information system by the primary health care institution to which the patient is attached or by the state medical institution where the patient was treated.
The list includes a total of 20 types of diseases and conditions. They cover the following main groups:
- Injuries and fractures: fractures of the clavicle, sternum, shoulder girdle, ribs, and spine.
- Respiratory system: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and stage IV bronchial asthma, as well as cases of partial or complete removal of a lung.
- Cardiovascular system: stage III and decompensation of chronic heart failure, cases of severe infarction and ischemia.
- Physical condition: Grade III (morbid) obesity - body mass index above 40.
- Anthropometric status: individuals with a height of less than 150 centimeters (nanism).
Experts emphasize that this procedure is aimed at protecting human health in situations where wearing a seatbelt poses a serious health risk.
