Chevrolet Captiva crossover returns to Russian market

The Chevrolet Captiva crossover, well-known to many, has reappeared on the Russian automotive market. The model, which was officially sold from 2006 to 2015, is now being imported from the United Arab Emirates. The vehicle is offered to buyers in both five- and seven-seat configurations. Reports avtonovostidnya.ru.
The price for a new Captiva starts at 2,150,000 rubles. This makes it significantly more affordable compared to Chinese cars in the same class. For instance, to purchase models like the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max, Geely Okavango, or GAC GS8, buyers have to spend over 3,300,000 rubles.
Technically, the crossover is equipped with a 147 hp 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine and a CVT gearbox. All models feature front-wheel drive only. Depending on the trim level, the car is equipped with a leather interior, LED optics, climate control, cruise control, a 360-degree view system, and other amenities.
Currently, it is possible to purchase this model in various Russian cities either by order or from stock. Prices can reach up to 2,790,000 rubles depending on delivery and customs clearance costs. Experts believe that the Captiva will continue to attract buyers' attention with its practicality and convenience as a family vehicle.
