GM updates Chevrolet crossovers

General Motors is preparing updates for the Chevrolet Trax and Chevrolet Trailblazer, the brand’s most affordable crossovers in North America. According to reports from sources familiar with the matter, the company plans to modernize both compact models as competition in the segment continues to grow. Reports Tarantas.news.

The expected changes are said to focus mainly on the interior. While GM has not yet revealed specific details, cabin comfort, usability and overall quality are likely to be key areas of attention. One issue that stands out is ergonomics, as owners have raised repeated complaints about how some interior controls and features are arranged.

The refresh is important because the Trax and Trailblazer play a major role in Chevrolet’s lineup. They compete with models such as the Honda HR-V, Hyundai Kona, Mazda CX-30 and Subaru Crosstrek, where interior quality and onboard technology have become major selling points for buyers.

By improving these crossovers, GM appears to be aiming to keep its entry-level SUVs attractive in a crowded market. The company has not announced a launch date for the upgraded versions yet. Earlier, Chevrolet also shared details of the new 2027 Silverado ZR2.
