Singer Farrukh Khamraev fined

Another singer, Farrukh Khamraev, has been fined for using the poet's poem without permission, the Ministry of Justice reports.

It is noted that the Ministry of Justice has determined that the poem "Ona yuring, hajjga baramiz" belonging to the Fergana poet Ismoiljon Babayev was used by singer Farrukh Khamraev without permission and without concluding an agreement in the appropriate manner.

In this case, a report on an administrative offense was drawn up against the offender under Article 177, Part 1 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility and sent to the appropriate court.

By decision of the Yakkasaroy District Court for Criminal Cases of Tashkent City, a fine was imposed on the offender under Part 1 of Article 177, Part 1 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.

For your information, according to the legislation, the author has the right to demand from the infringer compensation in the amount of 20 to 1000 times the base calculation amount instead of compensation for damage. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
