Famous British actor Jonathan Bailey, who played one of the main characters — Anthony Bridgerton — in the series "Bridgerton", said that the love scenes on screen have not given him any benefit in understanding real relationships.
He shared this during an interview on the popular British talk show Chicken Shop Date with host Amelia Dimoldenberg, according to Pravilamag.ru.
“Do you think being part of "Bridgerton" made you better in romantic relationships?” asked the host.
“No!” Bailey replied with a laugh.
According to the actor, on-screen romance is just a fantasy, far from real life. He believes that “romantic relationships should be grounded and real.”
“It was a fantasy, wasn’t it? Real relationships are something else,” he said.
