A tragedy occurred in the Samarkand region that turns hatred into pain. On July 26, 2024, in the Tayloq district, a 33-year-old female singer, Zeboyi Jahon (official name — Zebiniso Nasirova), was killed.
According to law enforcement authorities, the suspect in the crime is the deceased’s ex‑husband. He came to the woman’s home to see his children, but the visit escalated into an unexpected conflict and ended tragically.
Witnesses say that during the altercation, the man strangled his wife with his hands. Unfortunately, she died before the arrival of medical help.
The victim’s brother said he first heard about the incident from the brother’s wife, and then from their mother, and could not believe his sister had died:
— “My sister did not deserve such a death. She was the mother of three sons. Who raises a hand against his wife, the mother of his children?” he said, barely holding back tears.
According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, the 32-year-old man is charged under Article 97, Part 1 of the Criminal Code (premeditated murder). He has been detained and the investigation is under way.
