One of New York’s most famous hotels, Waldorf Astoria, has reopened its doors to guests after eight years of renovation. This historic building now includes not only a hotel, but also a residential complex with 375 apartments.
The luxury hotel, founded in 1893, has hosted numerous presidents, royal families, celebrities, and politicians. In 2017, Waldorf Astoria was purchased by China’s Anbang Insurance Group and underwent a complete restoration.
In the new design, the hotel’s historic architecture has been preserved while being enriched with modern amenities. Additionally, under the Waldorf Astoria Residences New York brand, luxury apartments have been put up for sale, with prices reaching millions of dollars.
The interior of the hotel recalls its former glory: massive chandeliers, marble staircases, and elegant decorative elements help restore Waldorf Astoria’s unique prestige.
This reopening marks a new chapter in the history of New York hospitality. Waldorf Astoria has once again established itself as a prestigious address in the heart of the city.
