In Los Angeles, the body of 15-year-old Celeste Hernandez, who went missing last year, was found inside the car of 20-year-old singer D4vd (real name David Burke), known for his work on the Fortnite and Arcane soundtracks. NBC News reported this.
According to reports, on September 8, police called a tow truck after noticing a foul odor coming from D4vd’s vehicle. During the inspection, the remains of the deceased were discovered.
The coroner confirmed Hernandez’s identity. The cause of death has not yet been determined, but local law enforcement is investigating the case as a homicide.
The singer’s representative stated that D4vd has been informed of the incident and is cooperating with authorities. At the time the body was found, he was on tour.
Hernandez had been missing since April 2024. At that time, she was 14 years old, while D4vd was 19. According to the Daily Mail, they were in a romantic relationship, which was also confirmed by the girl’s family.
The outlet added that their social media photos together, as well as matching “Shh…” tattoos on their index fingers, served as evidence of their relationship.
