Shahzod Sultonov has turned 30. He is in the spotlight as a well-known single artist in Uzbekistan’s show business who combines acting and singing.
He is the youngest child of singer Oybek Sultonov. His father guided him toward sports from childhood, especially boxing. Shahzod first trained in Muay Thai, and later boxing became an important part of his life. He says his childhood passed without financial difficulties and that his father created all the conditions for the family.
His creative path was not easy: he heard mentors say, “you won’t become an actor,” and for up to three years he mostly appeared as an extra. Later, thanks to the support of Sardor Rahimxon, his first major opportunities appeared.
The actor also openly said that as he became more recognizable, he received uncomfortable offers from some women. Regarding family matters, he stated that even if his parents choose a girl, he would first meet her and then make a decision, and if he marries an actress, he would want her to step away from the arts.
