The presidents attended a joint concert

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan and President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan jointly watched a traditional concert at the International Forum Palace "Uzbekistan". The event featured performers from both countries and highlighted the warm atmosphere of the leaders’ meeting.
Uzbekistan and Tajikistan are linked by centuries of close relations, shared spiritual and religious values, long-standing traditions, and a rich cultural heritage. The friendship, mutual respect, and good-neighborly ties between the two peoples have been preserved and strengthened over many generations.
The concert became a vivid expression of these bonds. Its program included selected examples of national music and stage art that reflected the unique and diverse cultures of the two brotherly nations.
Joint performances by Uzbek and Tajik singers, musicians, and ensembles symbolized mutual understanding, spiritual closeness, and active cultural dialogue between the two countries.
