A video showing a school in the Akkurgan district of the Tashkent region inviting actress Nilufar Hamidova to a creative meeting has spread widely on social media, sparking extensive public debate.
The situation was immediately investigated by the Tashkent Regional Preschool and School Education Department. It was determined that the incident took place on April 21, 2026, at 1:10 PM on the premises of General Secondary School No. 48 in the Akkurgan district.
According to reports, the event was planned to be organized as part of a "creative meeting" initiated by partner organizations in the Akkurgan district. This was reported by the youth leader of the "Qushtamgali" neighborhood.
Based on this, the school's deputy director for spiritual and educational affairs organized the concert with students on the school grounds.
However, no prior information regarding this event was provided to the Tashkent Regional Preschool and School Education Department or its regional branch. This indicates a gross violation of established regulations and procedures.
The Ministry of Preschool and School Education stated that a comprehensive investigation into the situation is currently underway. Legal assessments will be made regarding the actions of the officials involved, and appropriate measures will be taken in accordance with established procedures. Additional information will be provided upon the conclusion of the investigation.
