
The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has set new exchange rates for foreign currencies against the soum starting from May 22, 2025. The US dollar and euro exchange rates have increased significantly at the new rates.
As it turned out, the US dollar exchange rate has increased by 45.02 soums, and now one dollar is set at 12,937.93 soums. Thus, the US currency continues its rise once again.
The European currency - the euro - has shown an even greater increase: its price has increased by 152.88 soums in one day, and the new rate has amounted to 14,665.14 soums. The pound sterling has not lagged behind this process, its rate has increased by 109.36 soums, reaching 17,349.76 soums.
The Russian ruble has shown a slight increase against the soum, having appreciated by 0.76 soums, and now one ruble is exchanged for 161.10 soums.
The exchange rate of the Kazakh tenge also increased slightly. One tenge is now 25.34 soums (+0.14).

These rates, approved by the Central Bank, reflect changes in the country's foreign exchange market.
