On the second day of his working visit, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev closely familiarized himself with the activities of the modern Investor Service Center established in the city of Fargʻona. This visit is regarded as a significant step aimed at further increasing the economic opportunities and investment attractiveness of the region.
The «Fargʻona ekspo» international exhibition center, established in Fargʻona city, serves to broadly demonstrate the industrial potential of the region, strengthen cooperation ties between manufacturers, increase export volumes, and form a favorable business environment for investors.
This complex functions not merely as an exhibition space, but also as a unified communication platform for entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and investors. It creates opportunities for the exchange of ideas, cooperation agreements, and new projects.
In the center, which covers nearly five hectares, more than 200 local manufacturing enterprises have the opportunity to display their products. This allows for the presentation of the region's production capacities and brands to a wide audience.
The first two floors of the newly constructed eight-story modern building are allocated to organizations specializing in trade, investment, and entrepreneurship support. The upper floors house comfortable offices for investors and business representatives, where all conditions for work and cooperation have been created.
The center plans to hold permanent exhibitions and fairs in 15 different sectoral directions throughout the year. During this process, government agencies, exporters, manufacturers, and investors will gather in one place, gaining the opportunity to reach practical agreements.
Taking into account the effectiveness of this experience in Fargʻona, there are plans to establish similar innovative exhibition centers in the city of Toshkent, as well as in the Buxoro, Jizzax and Samarqand regions in the future.
During the visit, the head of state also viewed exhibitions related to the region's industrial and service sectors. Products in fields such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, jewelry, leather and footwear, handicrafts, medicine, and pharmaceuticals were widely displayed.
Furthermore, a presentation of large-scale investment projects of strategic importance for the Fargʻona region was held. The President spoke with investors and inquired about their proposals and plans.
In short, this center launched in Fargʻona is becoming one of the important projects that will serve not only to develop the regional economy but also to bring the investment climate of the entire country to a new level.
