Penalties have been increased for drivers who do not comply with the demand to stop

Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved the law on amendments to the law on improving the road safety system.

Article 194 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (Failure to comply with the lawful requirements of an employee of the internal affairs bodies) is being supplemented with a third part.

Failure by a driver of a vehicle to comply with the lawful requirements of an employee or employees of the internal affairs body to stop the vehicle several times in a row without good reason shall entail deprivation of the right to drive a vehicle for a period of one year, as well as a fine in the amount of 30 times the basic calculation amount (11.25 million soums).
