The Government Resolution approved the Regulation on the “Procedure for Ensuring Social Protection of Victims, Witnesses and Other Participants in Criminal Proceedings”.

The Regulation establishes the procedure for assigning and paying lump-sum benefits aimed at ensuring social protection of victims, witnesses and other participants in criminal proceedings.

The National Agency for Social Protection has been designated as the body providing social protection measures.

➖Death (death);
➖Inflicting bodily injury resulting in disability or other harm to his health;
➖he was injured or otherwise harmed his health that did not cause disability;

▪️ in the event of a person being injured or otherwise harmed his health, depending on the disability group:
  • Group I - in the amount of 80 times the minimum wage;
  • Group II - in the amount of 70 times the minimum wage;
  • Group III - in the amount of 50 times the minimum wage.

▪️ In case of infliction of bodily injury or other harm to health that does not cause disability, based on the conclusion of a forensic medical examination:
  • severe degree - in the amount of 35 times the minimum wage;
  • moderate degree - in the amount of 35 times the minimum wage;
  • mild degree leading to a short-term deterioration of health - in the amount of 25 times the minimum wage.

The decision (decision) on the application of social protection measures must be executed by the body providing it within 10 days from the date of its receipt.

Lump-sum benefits are not subject to tax and are not subject to deductions.
