The beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan in 2025 will fall on March 1. This was announced in a presidential decree, which was provided by the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan.
In accordance with the decree, measures will be taken to celebrate the month of Ramadan in accordance with national traditions and values.
“In this virtuous month, based on the idea of “Ramadan is the month of generosity, solidarity and tolerance”, we will:
- support initiatives to help those in need and young people seeking knowledge and enlightenment;
- strengthen family ties, enhance an atmosphere of mutual understanding and trust in neighborhoods, and promote the values of respect and kindness;
" - Special attention should be paid to preserving the environment, beautifying holy places, pilgrimage sites and cemeteries, planting trees, and adhering to the norm and avoiding waste in events related to the month of Ramadan," the document states.
