The Ministry of Transport announced that starting from March 28, changes will be made to some bus routes in Tashkent. The head of the Main Department for the Development of Urban Transport and Road Infrastructure signed a corresponding order in this regard.
It is noted that the current route No. 190 "Yangibazar ASB - Mashinasozlar Metro" will operate one-way via Yangi Uzbekiston Street to the Yangi Tashkent station. Then it will continue its previous route.
Bus route No. 137 will now operate two-way from the Istiqbol Mahalla stop via Parkent Yuli Street to the Yangi Tashkent station. The route “Istiqbol Mahalla - Kushkurgan Mahalla” will be renamed “Yangi Tashkent Station - Kushkurgan Mahalla”.
In addition, a new route No. 197 “Uzbekistan Hotel Station - New Tashkent Station” will be created. This route will run along Makhtumkuli and New Uzbekistan Road streets.
It should be recalled that in early March, some streets were temporarily closed in Tashkent due to Tarawih prayers and a number of bus routes were changed.
