Five bus routes temporarily changed in Tashkent

Due to the start of construction work at the intersection of Bektemir Road and the Tashkent Ring Road (TXAY), one of the city's key transport hubs, the movement schemes for several bus routes have been modified. To ensure passenger convenience and traffic safety, the new temporary order will be effective from May 6, 2026.

It is reported that the changes mainly affect public transport moving via the Food City shopping center. Specifically, bus routes 93, 110, 117, 128, and 130 will operate according to a new scheme when traveling in the opposite direction.

According to the new order, these buses will travel along a one-way route via the Tashkent Ring Road, the area under the bridge, the bridge access intersection, and Bektemir Road.

Experts note that this measure is being introduced to regulate traffic flow, reduce congestion, and ensure passenger safety during the construction process.

At the same time, bus route 39 will continue to operate according to its previous scheme. It will move along the Tashkent Ring Road and Furqat Street without changes.

Officials are asking drivers and passengers to be understanding of the temporary changes until the construction work is completed. It was emphasized that following road signs and temporary instructions is particularly important when using the new routes.

Currently, the modernization of transport infrastructure and the reconstruction of overpasses in the capital are continuing in stages. This is expected to make the traffic system more modern and convenient in the future.
