A man in Tashkent set fire to his friend's Tesla after a disagreement

A Tesla car was burned in Tashkent. This was reported by the press service of the capital's Department of Internal Affairs.

As it turned out, the incident occurred yesterday, April 17, at approximately 23:40 in a parking lot located in the Yalangoch village of Mirzo Ulugbek district. M.Zh., born in 1988, burned down a Tesla car belonging to his friend N.K., born in 1983, due to a disagreement.

As a result of the urgent measures taken, citizen M.Zh. was detained. The Investigation Department of the Mirzo Ulugbek District Internal Affairs Bureau of the Federal Migration Service has opened a criminal case under Article 173 of the Criminal Code (intentional destruction or damage to property). The investigation is currently ongoing.

According to a video circulating on social networks, the actions of a man setting fire to a car were captured on one of the cameras in the area. He first poured fuel from a container in his hand onto the car. Then he set fire and fled the scene.

According to the Tashkent city Federal Investigation Department, on April 14 at 23:51, a report was received about an electric car on fire in the Yalangoch district. Fire and rescue equipment arrived at the scene at 23:56 and the fire was extinguished at 23:59.

No one was killed or injured as a result of the fire.
