
The national team of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan won the VIII international "Team Spirit" competition held in Pakistan. This was reported by the press service of the ministry.
A total of 14 countries - Uzbekistan, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia (4 teams), the USA, Morocco, China, Jordan, Iraq, Turkey, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Qatar - 17 international teams and 14 teams from Pakistan, a total of 31 teams, competed in the competition.

According to the conditions, the teams moved along the azimuth at 7 checkpoints along the route up to 90 km (within 60 hours), during which they performed various special exercises in tactical-special, shooting, medical, communications, engineering training, protection against weapons of mass destruction and military topography, as well as exercises in solving unexpected tests.
Uzbek scouts, according to the draw, started moving from the first checkpoint in 17th place and eventually reached the finish line first (46 hours 44 minutes).

"The team of the Ministry of Defense of our country set a competition record by completing the task of evacuating a 90 kg wounded person with full equipment and weapons (running a distance of 5 km) in 34 minutes and 15 seconds," the report says.
The final results are as follows:
· 1st place - the Uzbekistan team (95 percent result);
· 2nd place - the Chinese team (74 percent result);
· 3rd place - the Bahrain team (65 percent result).
