Abdulla Aripov received the Iranian President

Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, who is on an official visit to Tehran, was received today, May 12, by the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian.

First, the Uzbek side expressed gratitude for the hospitality extended to the country's delegation and conveyed President Mirziyoyev's sincere greetings and best wishes.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that, thanks to the strong political will of the Heads of the two states, mutual cooperation has risen to the level of comprehensive relations, and the practical implementation of agreements reached at the highest level is also important for regional stability.

Special attention was also paid to ensuring the implementation of agreements reached in the priority areas of bilateral relations, such as trade, economic and investment, industrial cooperation, transport and logistics, interregional and cultural and humanitarian areas.

As part of the visit to Tehran, the Iranian House of Innovations and Technologies was also visited and advanced products and developments in such areas as energy, medicine and pharmaceuticals, agriculture, IT, and construction were introduced.

This concludes the visit of the Uzbek government delegation to Iran.
