The results of the "Safe and Healthy Country" event have been announced

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on the results of the nationwide rapid preventive measures "Safe and Healthy Country" carried out from April 15 to May 15. A number of partner organizations participated in the event, and special groups consisting of about ten sectoral services were formed in the regions.

Crime decreased, peace increased

During the event, hooliganism in streets and public places decreased by 25.6 percent. As a result, public safety was ensured at a high level. More than 17 thousand people carrying sharp objects that were considered dangerous to life and health by law enforcement agencies were identified.

Wanted people were found, illegal activities were stopped

More than 100 people who were hiding from the courts and investigation were detained by preventive inspectors. Legal measures were taken against more than 10 thousand people who committed hooliganism in May. Crimes committed by minors decreased by 20%, and preventable crimes by 36%.

Traffic control has been strengthened

During the month-long event, more than 590 thousand traffic violations were recorded. More than 67 thousand cars were placed in penalty areas. Among them, about 3,000 were driving under the influence of alcohol, more than 1,900 were driving without complying with legal requirements, and more than 700 were driving with illegal devices (siren and turn signals). Also, more than 48 thousand drivers were driving without appropriate legal documents.
