An attempt to smuggle gold cups was foiled at the Tashkent airport
Another illegal customs operation was stopped at Tashkent International Airport. According to the news service "Tashkent-AERO", during the inspection of the luggage of an Uzbek citizen who was about to fly to Munich, border customs officers at the Islam Karimov Airport discovered a valuable item.

It turned out that the passenger tried to smuggle a cup made of 750-grade yellow gold with a total weight of 104 grams among his luggage. It is said that its market value is 135 million 200 thousand soums.

Thanks to the close supervision of customs officers, this item was detected and the citizen was stopped. An investigation is currently underway into this case.
