Presidential Assistant Saida Mirziyoyeva held a meeting with Eric Meyer, Acting Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs and Acting Director of the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs of the US Department of State.
It was noted that Mirziyoyeva and Meyer discussed the main areas of bilateral cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to exchanges in the field of education and culture, including plans to expand cooperation with American universities.
The issues of developing trade and economic relations and supporting women were also discussed. The work being carried out in Uzbekistan in this regard was discussed: programs for women entrepreneurs, steps to ensure transparency in the provision of financial resources.
“We express our gratitude to our American partners for their constant support and open dialogue. We are confident that there are still many results to be achieved together,” Saida Mirziyoyeva wrote on her Telegram channel.
