Bad attitude to a child: a strange joke can turn into a tragedy

In recent days, a sad incident that occurred in the city of Fergana has attracted public attention on social networks. As a result of an investigation conducted in cooperation with the traffic safety service and the Children's Ombudsman, a person who committed a rude and illegal act against a child was identified. It turned out that a year ago, a citizen A.O., born in 1980, living in the "Yormazor" neighborhood of Fergana city, put his sister's one-year-old son I.M. in the trunk of a car, thinking it was a joke, closed the trunk, and filmed this incident and posted it on the Internet.

The incident caused a stir, and a preliminary investigation is currently underway into this case. The car belonging to this person was also taken to the Fergana City Department of Internal Affairs.

The Children's Ombudsman stressed that such false "jokes" are very dangerous. It was noted that they can cause serious harm to the child's mental and physical health. In fact, not every child can become a victim of adult jokes, "likes" and views on social networks. The rights of every minor are protected by the state and the law, and violating their freedom entails serious responsibility.

Taking thoughtless and meaningless videos on social networks may seem like "crazy fun" to some, but the life and health of a child should never be put at risk. According to the Ombudsman, if such situations are given a legal assessment, the rights of the child will be guaranteed protection and such incidents will be prevented.
