FaceID reveals exam cheating in Uzbekistan
Since the beginning of 2025, dozens of teachers in Uzbekistan have been disqualified from certification due to fraud, reported nova24.uz. This was announced by the Ministry of Preschool and General Education.

Since January 2024, the ministry has conducted teacher certification exams online using FaceID and real-time monitoring to ensure transparency and fairness.

In total, 79 candidates have been disqualified this year, including 68 for using unauthorized devices. Some individuals were found to offer fraudulent services to help teachers pass tests in exchange for money.

The ministry cooperates with law enforcement, including the Prosecutor General's Office, to address such violations. Teachers are urged to rely on their own knowledge and report misconduct via the hotline: +998-71-202-09-09.
