
Five members of an online drug store selling narcotic substances via Telegram have been arrested, reports the State Security Service (SSS).
According to the information, during an operation conducted in the city of Ohangaron, Tashkent region, with the cooperation of the State Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, five members of the drug store, who were living on a rental basis in Yangihayot district of Tashkent city and selling narcotics via Telegram, were detained.
It was found that they were transporting 400 grams of the synthetic drug “Alpha-PVP,” packaged in 0.3-gram portions, intending to deliver them to clients in the Andijan region.
Based on the testimony of the detainees, 53 hidden locations organized by them in Andijan region were found, and each contained 0.3 grams of the synthetic drug “Alpha-PVP,” which was seized in accordance with the regulations.
Furthermore, the operator of the said drug store, a resident of Izboskan district, Andijan region, born in 2003, was detained in the Yangihayot district during the continuation of the operation. In the trunk and cabin of his car, 986 grams of hashish and 7 kg of the synthetic drug “Alpha-PVP” were seized.
It is emphasized that the members of the drug group were engaged in selling narcotic substances smuggled into the country in Tashkent city, as well as in the regions of Tashkent, Andijan, Fergana, Namangan, Samarkand, and Bukhara.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against all of them under part 5 of Article 25,273 of the Criminal Code, and a preventive measure in the form of detention has been applied. Investigative actions are ongoing. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
