Farmer’s land plot put up for auction due to tax debt

According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-131 dated March 28, 2025, the measures taken to review the land lease rights of farmers who have chronically failed to pay tax debts are showing their effectiveness.

In particular, the Sirdarya district branch of the Bureau of Compulsory Execution, based on the decisions of the regional Tax Administration, carried out enforcement actions on enforcement documents for collecting a total of 94 million soums of tax debt from the debtor — the “A.D.” farmer’s enterprise.

Since the debt was not eliminated voluntarily, compulsory enforcement actions were initiated: the agricultural land plot of the debtor’s farm was seized and put up for auction.

As a result, the tax debt of 94 million soums and an enforcement fee of 1.9 million soums were fully collected from the debtor, and the enforcement proceedings were completed.
