On July 10, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed construction work, residents' living conditions, and the operations of industrial enterprises in Tashkent city.
This time, the route covered the Shaykhontokhur and Chilanzar districts. These are connected by Bunyodkor Street. On this central street, there are cultural and art institutions, various offices, multi-story buildings, supermarkets, and restaurants. Using this potential, a 1.5-kilometer section was transformed into a service and gastro-tourism street.

The head of state, together with public representatives, inspected the conditions on site. It was noted that 90 business entities on this street have been switched to round-the-clock operation. Among them, 45 enterprises are newly established. 500 people have been employed. Currently, 255,000 visitors come to this location annually. There are now conditions to increase this number to 1 million per year.

In recent years, over 2,000 new entrepreneurs have started operating in the tourism sector. Last year, the number of foreign visitors exceeded 10 million for the first time. Tourism villages, guest houses, and gastronomic streets are being supported.

Such bustling streets have been established in the Mirabad, Olmazor, Chilanzar, Yakkasaroy, and Yangihayot districts of the capital. It is emphasized that Bunyodkor Street will be part of this tourism ring. In total, 26 streets in Tashkent are planned to be transformed into 24-hour active streets, and the number of 24-hour retail points will be increased to one thousand.
A presentation of modern bus stops and parking lots also took place at the site. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
