In Denov district of Surkhandarya region, a person transporting 9 kg of hashish was detained. This was reported by the State Security Service.
It was noted that the 38-year-old man, previously convicted, received the narcotic substance from Tajik drug couriers for the purpose of resale.
Additionally, during the inspection of the vehicle of two citizens of Fergana city, born in 1994 and 1988, 5 kg 862 g of hashish were found. The operation continued, and a person intending to buy the narcotic at a price of 89 million soums per kilogram was also apprehended. Furthermore, the leader of a criminal group from Sokh district, who had previously smuggled the drug from Kyrgyzstan, was detained in procedural order.
During an operation in Namangan city, a previously convicted man was caught selling 3 kg 950 g of hashish for 38,000 USD. Continuing the operation, 868 g of hashish previously smuggled from Kyrgyzstan was also seized from his residence.
In the Altinsay district of Surkhandarya region, a local resident and his accomplice were arrested while selling 1 kg 962 g of opium brought from Tajikistan for 200 million soums.
In Syrdarya region, two previously convicted individuals were caught with evidence while trying to sell 943 g of opium imported from Tajikistan.
In total, 22 kg 585 g of narcotics were seized and their illegal circulation was prevented during the conducted operations.
