This visit was organized within the framework of the humanitarian action "Return to the Homeland," announced to provide consular-legal assistance to Uzbek citizens temporarily working abroad and to support compatriots in difficult situations abroad.
As part of the visit, a mobile consular reception was organized for compatriots in the Mersin province. During the reception, airline tickets were purchased with funds from the Migration Fund for 18 citizens as part of the humanitarian "Return to the Homeland" campaign. They were returned to their homeland on a charter flight organized by Uzbekistan Airways on the Antalya–Tashkent route.
In addition, during the visit, negotiations were held with representatives of Asya Fel Group in Mersin province regarding the organized placement of Uzbek citizens.
During the negotiations, company director Eren Ozturk stated that there is a need for a workforce at the new factory being built in Nigde province (Turkey) and expressed readiness to recruit Uzbek citizens for these vacancies.
Asya Fel Group was established in 2010 for the production of greenhouse materials. In addition, this company has established a greenhouse on 147 hectares in the Navoi region.
